What’s the best way to reach the camp?
You have several options for reaching our camp. The first is by train from either Porto centre or Porto airport. The train station at Maceda is only 5 minutes from our camp.
Take the train from Porto São Bento → Campanhã station → Line Aveiro → Carvalheira-Maceda station
Take the train from Porto airport (Francisco Sá Carneiro). Take Metro Line E (Campanhã) → Campanhã Train Station → Line Aveiro → Carvalheira-Maceda station
We also offer one way transfers from Porto for 60 EUR.
Is there a supermarket nearby?
What happens if there aren’t any waves/the waves are too big?
This might involve going north or south depending on the wind and tides. Excursions to waterfalls, stand up paddleboarding trips or a fun-filled day of easy-going activities are also options if the waves don’t cooperate.

Do you have vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free breakfast options?
It consists of sliced exotic fruit, a great selection of cereals, vegan oat porridge, gluten-free rice bread, fresh bread rolls and cakes.
There are also all kinds of spreads, such as fruit jams, honey and peanut butter along with local cheeses, eggs and butter.
For beverages, we have juice, freshly brewed coffee, with milk or soy milk and a wide assortment of teas.
